  Southern Perry County in southeastern Mississippi...

* Until 900 AM CDT.

* At 456 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain have
  already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Flash flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of southern
  Perry County.

Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are possible in the 
warned area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to four to eight inches of 
  rain have already fallen. 

* Flash flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of southern
  Perry County.

Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible in the 
warned area.

At 847 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy 
rain across the warned area.  Four to eight inches of rain have 
already fallen across the area. Flash flooding is expected to begin 
shortly.

Flash flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of southern Perry
County.

Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible in the 
warned area.
