Breezy southwest winds will develop over all of Lake Michigan on Tuesday followed by the passage of a cold front and gusty north winds Tuesday night into Wednesday. Gale force gusts will be possible during this time. Waves will build to 8 to 12 feet occasionally to 16 feet over portions of northern and central Lake Michigan for Tuesday afternoon.
