.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect across the entire Mid-
South through 8 PM CDT this evening for heat index values of 110
to 116 degrees.

There is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms across most of
West Tennessee, and a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms
across the remainder of the Mid-South, mainly late this afternoon
into this evening. Damaging winds will be the primary threat for
any thunderstorms that reach severe limits. Localized heavy
rainfall will also be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.
