* At 540 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have
  already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  St. Louis, Chesterfield, University City, Ballwin, Kirkwood, East
  St. Louis, Webster Groves, Manchester, Creve Coeur, Overland,
  Clayton, Cahokia, Jennings, Crestwood, Town and Country, Richmond
  Heights, Ladue, Sunset Hills, Des Peres and Brentwood.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1-2 inches are possible in the warned 
area.

This includes Interstate 44 in Missouri between exits 272 and 277.

Shrewsbury. In addition, a water rescue was ongoing in Fenton near 
Interstate 44.
