CENTRAL ORLEANS AND NORTHWESTERN JEFFERSON PARISHES...

At 713 AM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Luling, or near
Avondale, moving north at 20 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
New Orleans, Metairie, Avondale, Marrero, Jefferson, Harahan,
Westwego, Elmwood, Luling, Bridge City, River Ridge, Ama, Destrehan,
Waggaman, New Sarpy, St. Rose, Boutte, Norco, Bayou Gauche and New
