* Tornado Warning for...
  Central Wayne County in southeastern Georgia...

* Until 630 PM EST.

* At 614 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Odum, or near Jesup, moving east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and hail up to two inches in diameter. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely. 

* Locations impacted include...
  Jesup, Odum and Doctortown.

...SEVERE STORMS WITH TORNADOES POSSIBLE THIS EVENING ACROSS
PORTIONS OF INLAND SE GA...

.NEAR TERM (Through Monday night)...

A cold front will cross the region on Monday. A pre-frontal squall
line will traverse Se Ga this evening and weaken some as it moves
across Ne Fl overnite into Monday morning. Given the strong shear
coupled with modest instability discrete cells forming out ahead of
the line will be capable of being supercells producing
hail...damaging winds...and possible tornadoes. SPC has this area
...near the Altamaha...under a tornado watch until 11 pm this
evening. This same area has been upgraded to an enhanced risk of
severe weather.

Pops will increase northwest to southeast as the cold front
continues to push Se towards the area tonight. While the threat of
severe weather will tend to wane overnight (as the strong shear
begins to lift out) strong storms will still be possible across Ne
Fl early Monday morning.

As the front moves across Ne Fl on Monday...numerous showers with
isolated storms will progress to the Se during the afternoon. A few
strong storms will be possible across the far southern zones where
there will be modest instability in combination to a weakening low
level jet. Pcp expected to end from northwest to southeast beginning
in the afternoon and should be out of the area Monday evening with
the front to south.

.SHORT TERM (Tuesday-Wednesday night)...

A secondary cold front may bring a few showers Tuesday
morning...otherwise stage set for much colder and drier air to move
into the area beginning Tuesday night due to a Canadian high
building in behind the front. A light freeze is possible from the
upper Suwannee Valley into Se Ga with wind chills in the 20s

.LONG TERM (Thursday-Sunday)...

The cold Canadian high will build into the area through Thursday and
then weaken some and move offshore at the end of the week and
weekend as the long wave trough moves out and heights rise out ahead
of the next short trough. Temps begin out well below normal with an
inland freeze possible Wednesday night. Temps then moderate to above
normal by the first part of the weekend. Moisture levels also rise
enough for mention of a chance of showers.

.AVIATION...MVFR ceilings will lift to VFR by mid-late afternoon.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms may affect SSI this
afternoon...with strong and possibly severe storms affecting SSI 01z-
05z this evening. Showers and storms will move se across the ne Fl
TAF sites between 05z-10z tonight as they gradually weaken. Winds
will increase to 10-15g20 knots this afternoon and evening with low
level wind shear developing tonight. A windshift to the nw with
frontal passage will occur after midnight at SSI...and towards dawn
across ne Fl. MVFR ceilings likely to linger behind front Monday
morning.

.MARINE...A cold front will approach the waters tonight and
cross the waters on Monday bringing scattered to numerous showers
and isolated storms. A secondary cold front will move across the
waters Tuesday bringing a continued chance of showers. Expecting
SCEC for the waters through mid week with winds veering and
decreasing some towards the end of the week.

Rip Currents: Low risk through Monday.
