.Lowland flooding will continue to develop tonight as a result of
the one to two inches of rain that fell across the basins today.
Brief significant flooding is possible along the Mississinewa River
near Ridgeville.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

.Lowland flooding is occurring along portions of the lower White,
East Fork White, and Wabash Rivers and will rapidly develop along
the upper portions of the river as a result of a combination of
rains over the last week and the one to two inches that fell across
the basins Friday. Additional rain of around an inch is expected
Friday night which will further exacerbate flooding. Minor flooding
is expected with brief moderate flooding possible along the
Mississinewa River near Ridgeville. Flooding will last through the
weekend with flooding continuing through next week along the lower
White and Wabash.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go

.Flooding is occurring across much of central Indiana as a result of
a combination of rains over the last week and the one to three
inches that fell across the basins Thursday. Minor
flooding is occurring across much of the state with moderate
flooding occurring along the Mississinewa near Ridgeville. Moderate
flooding is also expected for the lower portions of the White and
Wabash Rivers starting this weekend. Flooding will last through the
weekend with flooding continuing through next week along the lower
White and Wabash.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

.Flooding is occurring across much of central Indiana as a result of
a combination of rains over the last week and the one to three
inches that fell across the basins Thursday. Minor flooding is
occurring across much of the state with moderate flooding occurring
along the Mississinewa near Ridgeville and the White River at
Anderson. Moderate flooding is also expected for the lower portions
of the White and Wabash Rivers this weekend. Flooding will last
through the weekend with flooding continuing through next week along
the lower White and Wabash.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and

.Flooding is occurring across much of central Indiana as a result of
a combination of rains over the last week and the one to three
inches that fell across the basins Thursday. Minor flooding is
occurring across much of the state with moderate flooding occurring
along the Mississinewa near Ridgeville a. Moderate flooding is also
expected for the lower portions of the Wabash Rivers this weekend.
Two rounds of rain are expected over the next several days. The
first round will move through during the afternoon on Saturday which
will bring a half inch to an inch across north central Indiana with
lesser amounts elsewhere. Another round is expected on Monday with
similar location and amounts. Flooding will last through the weekend
with flooding continuing through next week along the lower White and
Wabash.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

.Flooding is occurring across much of central Indiana as a result of
a combination of rains over the last week and the one to three
inches that fell across the basins Thursday. Minor flooding is
occurring across much of the state.
Less than half an inch of rain fell across central Indiana today.
Another round is expected on Monday which is expected to bring a
half inch to an inch across north central Indiana with lesser
amounts elsewhere. Flooding will last through the weekend with
flooding continuing through next week along the lower White and
Wabash.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

.Flooding is occurring across much of central Indiana as a result of
a combination of several period of rain over the last week. Minor
flooding is occurring across much of the state.
Less than half an inch of rain fell across central Indiana on
Saturday. Another round is expected on Monday which is expected to
bring a half inch to an inch across north central Indiana with
lesser amounts elsewhere. Flooding will last through the weekend
with flooding continuing through next week along the lower White and
Wabash.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

.Flooding is occurring across much of central Indiana as a result of
a combination of several period of rain over the last week.
Less than half an inch of rain fell across central Indiana on
Saturday. Several rounds are rain are expected throughout the
coming week with up to an inch and a half to two inches of total
rainfall possible. Flooding will last through the weekend with
flooding continuing through next week along the lower White and
Wabash.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

Issued at 329 PM EDT Thu Apr 25 2019 A surface front currently located across southern Indiana will slowly lift to the northeast before exiting the region by tomorrow. An upper level low pressure system will bring chances for rain and a few thunderstorms this weekend with additional threats for rain and thunderstorms mid-week next week. && .NEAR TERM /Tonight/... Issued at 329 PM EDT Thu Apr 25 2019 Primary focus for the period will be tracking rain and a few thunderstorms as they move through the state. A warm front is currently positioned across the southern portions of the state and is expected to slowly lift to the north before exiting the region later tonight as the upper level low pressure system moves out. The heavy rain that has been ongoing for much of the day will end after midnight with lighter rain showers continuing through the rest of the night. Rainfall amounts of one to locally two inches is expected between the day today and tomorrow morning which may lead to localized flooding in low lying areas and flooding along smaller creeks and streams that have been falling. Outlook: Thunderstorms are possible, along with heavy rain. Hazards: Lightning, heavy rain, localized flooding. Timing: Thunderstorms through this evening. Best chances for heavy rain and localized flooding will be before midnight. Discussion: A low pressure system will bring showers and some thunderstorms to the area during the early overnight hours tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. Outlook: Thunderstorms are possible over most of the area Monday through Wednesday. Severe storms are not expected at this time. Winds may gust to near 40 mph at times on Friday and as high as 35 mph late Saturday night and early Sunday. At 840 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Greenfield to 6 miles north of Shelbyville
to 11 miles southeast of Franklin. Movement was east at 35 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms. Some
weak rotation has been observed by radar in lower levels of the
storm.
Locations impacted include...
Shelbyville, Greenfield, Greensburg, Rushville, Adams, Edinburgh,
Knightstown, New Palestine, Flat Rock, Milford, Geneva, Morristown,
St. Paul, Carthage, Spiceland, Shirley, Kennard, Wilkinson,
Lewisville and Fairland.
