This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Illinois and west central Illinois. .DAY ONE...TONIGHT... Scattered light rain showers and drizzle will continue until later tonight when the rain will slowly transition back to a wintry mix. The transition will move in from the northwest, a mix of rain, snow, sleet, and freezing rain, reaching the Illinois River Valley near midnight. The mix will eventually change to mostly snow by tomorrow morning. Minor ice accumulations and up to 1 to 3 inches of snow will be possible by early tomorrow morning. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY... Light snow, possibly mixed with freezing rain at times in the morning, will continue into Thursday afternoon. Additional accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are possible. Also, blustery winds will drop the wind chill to the teens and low 20s tomorrow evening. Just after sunset on Halloween, the wind chill temperatures will be in the teens as the system moves out of the region.
