This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Significant flooding is ongoing for much of south central Nebraska
west of Highway 281. Please see individual flood statements for
additional, more specific information.

Strong to marginally severe thunderstorms are possible tonight,
mainly after 10pm, for areas along and north of the state line.
Large hail up to quarter size is the main concern. Also, brief
heavy downpours on already saturated ground may briefly worsen
ongoing flooding for areas west of Highway 281.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Significant flooding will likely continue for the next several
days due to runoff from recent heavy rain, particularly along the
Wood River, Platte River and Republican River in south central
Nebraska. Please see individual flood statements for
additional, more specific information.

Periodic thunderstorms are possible Thursday night through
Tuesday, but it is too soon to determine severe thunderstorm
potential.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed tonight. Any reports of ongoing
flooding or rainfall amounts in excess of three inches are greatly
appreciated.
