This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the counties served by the
National Weather Service office in Birmingham.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Isolated severe thunderstorms with damaging winds up to 60 mph are
possible through 10 PM, along and north of a Demopolis to Montgomery
to Phenix City line.

Heat index values may briefly reach 105 degrees in isolated locations
this afternoon, mainly along and south of a Tuscaloosa, to
Montgomery, to Phenix City line.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Hot and humid conditions will continue through early next week. Heat
index values may reach or exceed 105 degrees Thursday, Friday,
Monday, and Tuesday afternoons, mainly in southern and western
portions of Central Alabama.

Activation of storm spotters and emergency management may be needed
this afternoon and evening.
