SOUTHWESTERN RANDOLPH...NORTHEASTERN POCAHONTAS...NORTH CENTRAL
NICHOLAS...BRAXTON...SOUTHERN UPSHUR...SOUTHEASTERN ROANE...WEBSTER
AND CLAY COUNTIES...

At 1230 AM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from 10 miles west of Mill Creek to near
Gassaway to 8 miles southeast of Spencer. Movement was southeast at
25 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Sutton, Clay, Webster Springs, Gassaway, Addison (Webster Springs),
Birch River, Big Otter, Holly River State, Wallback, Harrison, Mingo,
Cowen, Durbin, Flatwoods, Huttonsville, Nebo, Alexander, Cheat
Bridge, Eden and Helvetia.

This includes Interstate 79 between mile markers 28 and 69.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
