East central Custer County in southeastern Colorado... West central Pueblo County in southeastern Colorado... * Until 545 PM MDT. * At 248 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly. * Some locations that will experience flooding include... Beulah and Wetmore. Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in flash flooding and possible debris flow moving through the Junkins Burn Scar. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials. This warning is for the Junkins Burn Scar and locations downstream. A strong thunderstorm is approaching the burn scar and heavy rain is anticipated within the next 15 minutes.
