The National Weather Service in Pueblo has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Central Huerfano County in southeastern Colorado...
* Until 445 PM MDT.
* At 148 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to
begin shortly in the Upper Yellowstone Creek and the South Oak
Creek.
* Flash flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of central
Huerfano County. Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result
in debris flow moving through the Upper Yellowstone Creek and the
South Oak Creek. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud,
vegetation and other loose materials.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

CENTRAL HUERFANO COUNTY...
At 223 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to be
occurring in the Upper Yellowstone Creek and the tributaries of
South Oak Creek.
Excessive rainfall over the burn scar may result in debris flow
moving through the Upper Yellowstone Creek and the tributaries of
the South Oak Creek. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud,
vegetation and other loose materials.
Flash flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of central
Huerfano County.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

CENTRAL HUERFANO COUNTY...
At 349 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Flash flooding may be occurring at
this time. Redovelopment of thunderstorms has occurred over the
northern portions of the Spring Fire burn scar.
Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow
moving through the Upper Yellowstone Creek, Dog Spring Arroyo, and
the tributaries of the South Oak Creek. The debris flow can consist
of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials.
Flash flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of central
Huerfano County.
