A few strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible through the evening
hours across portions of northern, central into southern Oklahoma.
The stronger storms may produce damaging wind gusts to 60 mph,
hail to the size of golf balls, and very heavy rainfall.
Thunderstorm intensity is expected to decrease by late evening.

Locally heavy rainfall amounts will occur with thunderstorms and
this could lead to flooding in some areas.
