southwest Alabama, northwest Florida and southeast Mississippi.

A few strong storms will be possible this afternoon and evening
generally east of I-65. Primary threats will be strong wind gusts
and frequent cloud-to-ground lightning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Heat index values of 102 to 107 degrees are expected Wednesday with
localized higher values possible.

There is a moderate risk of rip currents along area beaches Friday
into the weekend.
