Central Volusia County in east central Florida...
* Until 600 PM EDT
* At 532 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over DeLand
Airport, or near DeLeon Springs, moving northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A tornado watch remains in effect for the warned area. Tornadoes can
develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Although a tornado is not
immediately likely, if one is spotted, act quickly and move to a
place of safety inside a sturdy structure such as a small interior
room.
Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay
away from windows.

FOR NORTH CENTRAL VOLUSIA COUNTY...
At 544 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Daytona
International Speedway, or near Daytona Beach, moving northeast at
55 mph.
HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Daytona Beach, Port Orange, Ormond Beach, South Daytona and Holly
Hill.
Golf ball sized hail was reported just north of DeLeon Springs with
this storm. Take shelter now!!!
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A tornado watch remains in effect for the warned area. Tornadoes can
develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Although a tornado is not
immediately likely, if one is spotted act quickly and move to a place
