A line of strong to locally severe thunderstorms is expected to move
through Eastern North Carolina late this evening and tonight. The
main threats with the storms will be damaging winds and brief very
heavy downpours with localized flooding, but an isolated tornado may
also occur within the line of thunderstorms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

No significant hazardous weather is expected.

A line of strong to locally severe thunderstorms is expected to move
through Eastern North Carolina Sunday night. The main threats with
the storms will be damaging winds and brief very heavy downpours
with localized flooding, but an isolated tornado may also occur
within the line of thunderstorms.

In addition, strong gradient winds ahead of the front could bring
wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph for the Outer Banks and downeast Carteret
County Sunday night.

No significant weather is expected at this time.
