The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southern Larue County in central Kentucky...

* Until 1145 PM EDT.

* At 1130 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing both
  tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage were located near
  Hodgenville, moving southeast at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Hodgenville, Boundary Oak, Mathers Mill, Leafdale, Tanner, Mount
  Sherman, Ginseng and Wards.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Tornadoes are extremely difficult to see and confirm at night. Do not
wait to see or hear the tornado. TAKE COVER NOW!

This cluster of thunderstorms is capable of producing tornadoes and
widespread significant wind damage. Do not wait to see or hear the

Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for the area.
