Northwestern Boyd County in north central Nebraska...
* Until 500 AM CDT.
* At 200 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to four inches of rain has
already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Butte, Naper and Anoka.
Additional rainfall amounts of three inches are possible in the
warned area.
This includes Highway 12 between mile markers 84 and 114.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
