Warning for portions of the following waterway in central Indiana...
Wabash River...
.Lowland flooding will develop along the Wabash River in western
Indiana as a result of the river remaining high from recent high
water and flooding conditions coupled with rainfall up to one
inch across the area this morning. Significant flooding is not
expected. Flooding will affect some local and state roads, low
agricultural land, and some river parks. Flooding looks to begin
tomorrow morning.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following waterways
in Indiana...
East Fork White River...Mississinewa River...Wabash River...
.Lowland flooding has developed along the Mississinewa River and
will begin developing tomorrow along portions of the East Fork White
River and Wabash River. One to one and a half inches of rain fell
across the state today which combined with waters high from
previous flooding, will cause the flooding.
Significant flooding is not expected with the most severe flooding
occurring along portions of the Wabash that were already in action
stage. Little to no new precipitation is expected through the
early portions of next week which will allow the other rivers to
fall quickly. Flooding will affect some local and state roads, low
agricultural land, and some river parks.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following waterways
in Indiana...
East Fork White River...Mississinewa River...Wabash River...
.Lowland flooding was ongoing or expected at numerous locations in
Indiana as of late Sunday morning due to a combination of
rainfall Saturday, up to one and a half inches, and high water from
previous flooding. Flooding in progress on the Mississinewa River in
the vicinity of Ridgeville will be coming to an end by this evening.
Meanwhile, it will continue in the vicinity of Seymour on the East
Fork White River, likely lasting into Tuesday with a crest around 1.4
feet above flood stage. Flooding will develop along the Wabash River
through tomorrow, cresting up to nearly 4 feet above flood stage.
Flooding will come to an end by the end of the week, finishing along
the southern reaches of the Wabash River.
The White River is expected to have crests near flood stage from
about Elliston southward. Flood warnings may be needed in the
near future for these locations.
Little to no new precipitation is expected through Friday, which
will allow the other rivers to fall quickly. Flooding will affect
some local and state roads, low agricultural land, and some river
parks.

...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following waterways
in Indiana...
East Fork White River...Wabash River...White River...
.As of Sunday evening, lowland flooding was ongoing or expected at
numerous locations in Indiana due to a combination of
rainfall Saturday, up to one and a half inches, and high water from
previous flooding.
The White River is expected to have crests slightly above flood
stage near Elliston and Edwardsport and near flood stage at points
downstream. Along the East Fork White River, flooding is expected
to end late Tuesday night with flooding limited to near Seymour.
Along the Wabash River, flooding is ongoing as far downstream as
Montezuma with points further downstream expected to reach flood
stage later this week. Flooding will come to an end by the end of
the week.
Little to no new precipitation is expected through Friday, which
will allow the other rivers to fall quickly. Flooding will affect
some local and state roads, low agricultural land, and some river
parks.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

Issued at 343 AM EST Sat Dec 1 2018 Rain will rapidly continue to spread into central Indiana from the south this morning as an area of low pressure rotates over the Central Plains. As forcing strengthens throughout the day, so will the chances for isolated strong thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. After some lingering rain and snow showers over the northern portions of central Indiana through Monday, much colder and drier air will build over the region for most of the extended period. The only exception in the extended period will be low chances for some rain/snow showers on Thursday/Thursday night with a frontal system. && .NEAR TERM /Rest of Today/... Issued at 1040 AM EST Sat Dec 1 2018 For the update...increased wind gusts a little based on observations, so could see gusts of 30 to 40 mph outside of any storms. Otherwise decreased PoPs for parts of central Indiana for a few hours this morning/early afternoon based on radar and hi res model trends, with many locations across the area seeing an hour to a few hours of dry time then. Overall though still expecting more development this afternoon, with the best chances for strong to severe storms to be this afternoon and evening, from 3 to 10 pm. Current synoptic setup shows an area of low pressure centered over the Kansas/Oklahoma border with a warm front stretching through the southern Missouri Valley and to the east coast. The best instability will be located west of here where the dry slot will be most prevalent, but if there is enough time for some drier air to destabilize the environment this afternoon across central Indiana, there could still be a threat for isolated strong to severe thunderstorms.
