This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north Alabama and portions of
southern middle Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...Tonight...
Scattered thunderstorms are expected this evening and overnight. A
few storms could be strong to marginally severe, especially before
midnight. Locally heavy rainfall, gusty winds up to 50 to 60 mph, and
frequent lightning will be the primary threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday...

Widespread showers and thunderstorms return on Friday. A few
thunderstorms could be strong to severe. Damaging wind gusts, hail up
to half dollar size, and locally heavy rainfall will be the primary
threats with these storms. Additionally, a brief, weak tornado cannot
be ruled out.

Scattered to widespread thunderstorms are possible Saturday, Sunday
and Monday. The highest chance of strong storms in this period will
be Sunday and mostly in the Tennessee counties. Isolated to
scattered thunderstorms are possible Tuesday and Wednesday.

.SPOTTER CALL TO ACTION STATEMENT...

Activation of storm spotters and emergency management personnel is
not anticipated at this time.
