...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM CDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN WINNEBAGO...NORTHEASTERN WAUSHARA AND SOUTH CENTRAL
WAUPACA COUNTIES...

At 947 PM CDT, a severe squall line capable of producing both
tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage was located over
Fremont, or 11 miles southeast of Waupaca, moving east at 60 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northwestern Winnebago...northeastern Waushara and south central
Waupaca Counties, including the following locations... Zittau, Lind
Center, Orihula, Readfield, Metz, Tustin, West Bloomfield, Boom Bay,
Weyauwega and Northport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

This cluster of thunderstorms is capable of producing tornadoes and
widespread significant wind damage. Do not wait to see or hear the
tornado. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest
floor of a building.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR NORTHWESTERN WINNEBAGO...NORTHEASTERN
WAUSHARA AND SOUTH CENTRAL WAUPACA COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 1015 PM
CDT...
        
The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However gusty
winds and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for
central, northeastern and east central Wisconsin.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
Green Bay.

Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for
Waupaca and Winnebago Counties.
