This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Scattered thunderstorms will continue through the evening hours with
the greatest coverage along and west of Interstate 35. Some storms
may become strong with winds over 40 mph possible.

Late tonight, a line of storms will enter the western portions of
North and Central Texas. Heavy rain is expected with this line, and
strong winds may also occur. Some parts of the line may be severe
with a damaging wind threat.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
Widespread thunderstorms are expected to affect the area Tuesday and
Tuesday night as one or more thunderstorm complexes traverses the
region. Damaging winds will be the main threat with stronger
thunderstorms, but an isolated tornado or hail would also be
possible if any supercell thunderstorms are able to develop ahead of
the storm complex. Depending on the speed of the complexes of storms,
heavy rainfall may result in flash flooding or minor river flooding.

After a brief interlude of pleasant weather Wednesday and Thursday,
thunderstorm chances will return on Sunday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
