A flash flood watch is in effect for far north Georgia.
Persistent rainfall with short periods of heavy rainfall at times
may cause flash flooding or river flooding through this afternoon.
Refer to the flash flood watch for more information.

There will be a slight chance of thunderstorms as a line of
showers moves through the area. A few storms could be strong with
gusty winds being the main hazard. Ahead of this feature, winds
will increase across portions of the southern Atlanta metro and
into central Georgia, prompting the issuance of a wind advisory.

No hazardous weather is expected Friday through Wednesday.
