  Central Scott County in west central Kansas...

* Until 1045 PM CDT.

* At 451 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to 
  begin shortly. Radar estimateds of 1 to 3 inches of rain has 
  already fallen with more expected over the next few hours. 

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Scott City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
