South central Jefferson County in central New York... North central Oswego County in central New York... * Until 715 PM EDT. * At 415 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly. Watch for sudden rises on Little Sandy Creek and Lindsey Creek between I- 81 and Lake Ontario. * Some locations that will experience flooding include... Sandy Island Beach State Park, Sandy Creek and Lacona. Additional rainfall amounts of about and inch are possible in the warned area. This includes Interstate 81 between exits 37 and 38.
