Scattered thunderstorms are expected to form along a warm front between I-94 and US Highway 2 this afternoon. More numerous thunderstorms are expected Thursday evening and into the night across a larger portion of western and central North Dakota. Very large hail to around baseball size, damaging winds to near 80 mph, a few tornadoes, and localized flash flooding are the primary threats. A significant, widespread damaging wind threat is possible late this evening and tonight.
