...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE THIS AFTERNOON
AND DEVELOP AGAIN WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...

.A very dry airmass remains in place across northeast Oklahoma,
with conditions remaining conducive to rapid fire spread this 
afternoon. Winds will decrease quickly after sunset, however 
humidity recovery will be poor overnight. South winds will 
increase along and northwest of Interstate 44 by late Wednesday 
morning and with very dry air remaining in place, critical fire 
weather conditions will again be possible.

...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY MORNING THROUGH
WEDNESDAY EVENING FOR VERY DRY AND WINDY CONDITIONS FOR NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA...

The National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued a Fire Weather
Watch, which is in effect from Wednesday morning through
Wednesday evening. 

* AFFECTED AREA...In Oklahoma, Osage, Washington, Nowata, Craig, 
Ottawa, Pawnee, Tulsa, Rogers, and Creek counties. 

* WIND...10 to 20 mph this afternoon. 15 to 25 mph with gusts 
near 35 mph Wednesday afternoon.

* HUMIDITY...8 to 15% this afternoon. 10 to 20% Wednesday
  afternoon.

* TEMPERATURE...mid 60s this afternoon. Mainly lower 70s Wednesday
  afternoon.

* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. 
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A red flag warning means that a dangerous combination of weather
conditions and dry vegetation is expected within 24 hours,
favoring rapid growth and spread of any wildfires. The primary
weather factors include stronger winds, lower humidities, and
warmer temperatures.

A fire weather watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur.
