line extending from near Carthage to near Pierce City, moving
northeast at 45 mph.

At 345 PM CDT, a severe squall line capable of producing both
tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage was located along a
line extending from 8 miles southeast of Jasper to 7 miles west of
Mount Vernon, moving northeast at 60 mph.
