SATURDAY FOR WEBSTER...CHRISTIAN AND GREENE COUNTIES...

At 328 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain has already 
fallen across central and northern Christian County...southeast 
Greene County and western and central Webster County. Flash flooding 
is ongoing.

This warning includes but is not limited to the following low water 
crossings... Route U at Pedelo Creek northeast of Sparta...Scenic 
Avenue in southwest Springfield... Route C at The Little Sac River 
north of Strafford... and Greenwood Road at The Pomme de Terre 
Headwaters. Flash flooding has been reported in south Springfield 
along Battlefield Road...and in northern sections of Nixa along 
Tracker and Eagle Crest Roads.

Additional rainfall amounts of one to three inches will be possible 
as storms develop repeatedly over the warned area.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded

rain across the warned area. Up to four inches of rain has fallen. 
Flash flooding is ongoing.

* Creeks, streams, and low water crossings will be especially
  susceptible to the dangers of flash flooding.

This warning includes but is not limited to the following low water
crossings...

Route CC west of Fair Grove at The Pomme De Terre River...
Route U at Pedelo Creek northeast of Sparta...
Scenic Avenue in southwest Springfield...
Route C at The Little Sac River north of Strafford...
and Greenwood Road at The Pomme de Terre Headwaters.

Additional rainfall amounts of one to three inches will be possible 
in the warned area this morning. 

SMaller creeks around Springfield have risen rapidly this morning 
and are likely over their banks and affecting low lying areas near 
those creeks. 

The Missouri Department of Transportation reported road closures due 
to flooding along Highway 125 in Rogersville...Route U south of 
Rogersville...and Route Z south of Fordland.
