At 257 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Fairfield, or
near Norwalk, moving northeast at 10 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with this storm.

This storm will be near...
  Westport around 330 PM EDT.

...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT CENTRAL PASSAIC AND
SOUTHEASTERN ORANGE COUNTIES...

At 305 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Middletown to near Vernon Valley.
Movement was east at 10 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with these
storms.

Locations impacted include...
Middletown, Ringwood, Monroe, Warwick, Goshen, Chester, Greenwood
Lake, Florida, Harriman, Unionville, Upper Greenwood Lake, Kiryas
Joel, Scotchtown, Mechanicstown and Westtown.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT NEW LONDON...MIDDLESEX
AND CENTRAL NEW HAVEN COUNTIES...

At 504 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from Lake Pocotopaug--East Hampton to near
Southington. Movement was northeast at 25 mph.

Additional thunderstorms were developing over the remainder of
southeastern Connecticut and spreading north.

Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with these
storms.

Locations impacted include...
Jewett City, Meriden, Middletown, Wallingford, Norwich, Glastonbury,
New London, Guilford, Wolcott, Colchester, Plainfield, Clinton, East
Hampton, Groton and Old Saybrook.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
