The National Weather Service in The San Francisco Bay Area has issued
a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central Santa Cruz County in northern California...

* Until 1000 PM PST

* At 554 PM PST, stream gage reports indicated minor flooding on the
  San Lorenzo River near Felton. At 5:30 PM PST the water level on
  the river near Felton was at 17.1 feet and water levels were
  continuing to rise. Flooding in the Paradise Park area begins
  around 16.5 feet.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Paradise Park. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1000 PM PST FOR
CENTRAL SANTA CRUZ COUNTY...

At 730 PM PST, stream gauge reports indicated that the San Lorenzo
River at Big Trees was at 20.5 feet. Flash flooding is already
occurring. Moderate flooding occurs with a river stage above 19.5
feet. The Saint Barnard Street area in Paradise Park is under
several feet of water. Saint Augustine Avenue neighborhood in
Paradise park begins to flood. Flooding is imminent or already
occurring in the Felton Grove neighborhood. Felton Covered Bridge
Park begins to flood.

Rainfall has recently ended across most of the San Lorenzo River
basin, but heavy runoff from rain earlier in the day will continue
and further rises on the river are possible this evening.

Paradise Park.
