The National Weather Service in Midland has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Mitchell County in western Texas...
  Southeastern Scurry County in western Texas...

* Until 1245 PM CDT

* At 938 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Widespread rainfall amounts 
  upwards of 3 inches have occurred, with locally higher amounts up 
  to 6 inches in the warned area. Flooding is expected along Lone 
  Wolf Creek and Champion Creek North Fork and associated 
  tributaries. 
  
  Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Colorado City, China Grove, Valley View, Colorado City Airport,
  Inadale, Us-84 Near The Nolan-Fisher County Line and Buford.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1245 PM CDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN MITCHELL AND SOUTHEASTERN SCURRY COUNTIES...

At 1138 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms produced 
rainfall amounts of 3 to 8 inches across the warned area. This has 
resulted in flooding in the vicinity of creeks and rivers, other low 
lying areas, and low water crossings. Of particular concern are Lone 
Wolf Creek and Champion Creek North Fork. While the rain has come to 
an end, it will take time before water recedes.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Colorado City, China Grove, Valley View, Colorado City Airport,
Inadale, Us-84 Near The Nolan-Fisher County Line and Buford.
