The National Weather Service in Midland has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northern Glasscock County in western Texas...
  Northeastern Midland County in western Texas...
  Southern Howard County in western Texas...
  Southeastern Martin County in western Texas...

* Until 1130 AM CDT

* At 824 AM CDT, Doppler radar estimated rainfall totals of 3 to 8 
  inches across the warned area. Flooding and Flash flooding is 
  expected along or near highway 87 and ranch roads 818 and 821. The 
  chance for additional rainfall is decreasing, but it will take 
  time for the flood waters to recede.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Big Spring south, Stanton south, Greenwood, Coahoma, Forsan, 
  Lomax, Lees, South Haven, Elbow, Spraberry, Sand Springs.

This includes low water crossings at County Road 16 at Dugout Creek 
, County Road 14 at Oveton Road and North Concho River Tributary.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 AM CDT FOR
NORTHERN GLASSCOCK...NORTHEASTERN MIDLAND...SOUTHERN HOWARD AND
SOUTHEASTERN MARTIN COUNTIES...

At 1013 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned 
area. Doppler radar is estimating rainfall totals of 3 to 8 inches 
across the warned area. Flooding and Flash flooding is expected 
along or near highway 87 and ranch roads 818 and 821. The chance for 
additional rainfall is decreasing, but it will take time for the 
flood waters to recede.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Big Spring, Stanton, Greenwood, Coahoma, Forsan, Lomax, Lees, South
Haven, Elbow, Spraberry, Sand Springs, Big Spring Country Club, Big
Spring McMahon-Wrinkle Airpark and Midway.
