HOLT AND WHEELER COUNTIES UNTIL 1100 PM CDT...

At 1022 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 13 miles south of Amelia to 14 miles west of
Bartlett to near Ericson. Movement was east at 55 mph.

Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with these storms.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Bartlett around 1035 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Knievels Corner,
Sunfish Lake, Cumminsville, Four Corners, Pibel Lake State Recreation
Area, Buffalo Flats, Goose Lake State Wildlife Management Area and
Gables.

This includes Highway 281 between mile markers 132 and 163.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
