This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Southeast Texas..

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A line of thunderstorms oriented north northeast to south
southwest is expected to make its way into western portions of
southeast Texas after sunrise...to the Interstate 45 corridor
during the late morning to early afternoon...then eastward and out
of the area toward 4 pm. The primary threat with these storms will
be isolated tornadoes and wind damage. Secondary threats include
hail and locally heavy rain, which could produce street flooding.

A line of strong to severe thunderstorms associated with a cold
front will move across the waters today. Some of these
thunderstorms will be capable of waterspouts and damaging winds.
Elevated winds and waves are expected both ahead of and behind the
front and Small Craft Advisories are in effect. Elevated offshore
flow behind the front may also cause some water to be pushed out
of area bays and waterways leading to an increased risk of
grounded vessels tonight.
