was located 15 miles southeast of Morganton, or 4 miles northeast of
Casar, moving northeast at 80 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
This dangerous storm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southwestern Catawba...western Lincoln...northwestern Cleveland and
southeastern Burke Counties, including the following locations:
Cooksville, Vale and Pleasant Grove.
