This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Georgia, piedmont
North Carolina, western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

A cold front will push into the region from the northwest today and
slowly cross into the Piedmont tonight. Strong to severe
thunderstorms with quarter-size hail and brief, damaging winds will
be possible during the afternoon and evening hours, especially across
the North Carolina Piedmont. Very heavy rainfall will be possible
with the thunderstorms as well, and isolated flash flooding may
develop in areas repeatedly affected by thunderstorms.
