Scattered thunderstorms are expected across north and central
Georgia this afternoon and evening...especially across northeast
and western portions. A few of the storms could become strong
with the primary threats being gusty winds, frequent lightning and
heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday...

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible across the entire area
Wednesday through Monday, mainly during the afternoon and
evening.

WHITE COUNTIES UNTIL 715 PM EDT...

At 649 PM EDT...a strong thunderstorm was over Clermont, or 8 miles
south of Cleveland...moving south at 3 mph.

  HAZARD...40 to 50 mph wind...up to penny sized hail...frequent
           cloud to ground lightning and heavy rain.

  IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
           light...unsecured objects. Minor flooding is possible.

Some locations in the path of this storm include
Clermont.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
