Scattered thunderstorms are expected across north and central
Georgia this afternoon and evening. A few of the storms could become
strong with the primary threats being gusty winds, frequent
lightning and heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday...

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible across the entire area
Tuesday through Sunday, mainly during the afternoon and evening.

southeast of Newnan...moving north at 5 mph.

  HAZARD...Up to 40 mph wind...frequent cloud to ground lightning
           and heavy rain.

           light...unsecured objects. Heavy rain may cause temporary
           street flooding especially in poor drainage areas.
