* At 109 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Two to three inches of rain
have already fallen in some locations with an additional heavy
rainfall moving over this area. Flash flooding is expected to
begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Atlanta, Sandy Springs, Roswell, Alpharetta, Dunwoody, Duluth,
Chamblee, Norcross, Doraville, Berkeley Lake, North Atlanta, North

NORTHWESTERN DEKALB...WEST CENTRAL GWINNETT AND NORTHEASTERN FULTON
COUNTIES...
At 600 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
that although the heavy rainfall over the area was diminishing,
three to five inches of rain, with local amounts over 6 inches, have
already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to continue this evening.
Additionally, some local creeks and waterways in the warned area
remain above flood stage, including portions of Nancy Creek, the
North Fork Peachtree Creek, Peachtree Creek, and Crooked Creek.

Atlanta, Sandy Springs, Roswell, Alpharetta, Dunwoody, Duluth,
Chamblee, Norcross, Doraville, Berkeley Lake, North Atlanta, North
