At 215 AM EDT, Doppler radar showed the heavy rain that fell earlier 
across the warned area has diminished. However, widespread rainfall 
amounts of two to four inches, with localized totals as high as 
seven inches, of rain have fallen across the warned area and flash 
flooding is will continue for the next few hours.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Covington, Washington, Madison, Greensboro, Lexington, Social Circle,
Oxford, Union Point, Porterdale, Crawford, Rutledge, Newborn,
Mansfield, Bostwick, Woodville, Maxeys, Rayle, Buckhead, Stephens and
Wrayswood. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

The heavy rain has ended. Although no new flooding is expected to 
develop, many rivers, creeks and streams will continue to see high 
and swiftly flowing water through the morning and some roads will 
still have water ponding on the roadway.
