...an intense snow squall will affect Lake...northern Geauga and
northeastern Cuyahoga Counties Until 200 AM EST...
At 1059 PM EST, radar indicated an intense lake effect snow squall
across northeastern Cuyahoga County extending into western Lake
County and northern Geauga County. This intense snow squall band was
nearly stationary. Another band was moving onshore near Perry and
Madison in eastern Lake County.
HAZARDS INCLUDE... Visibility can rapidly drop to less than a
quarter of a mile in the snow squall...
Up to 2 inches of quick snow accumulation is possible...
Locations impacted include...
Painesville, Willowick, Chardon, Fairport Harbor, Euclid, Mentor,
Cleveland Heights, Willoughby, Eastlake, Madison, Perry, Timberlake,
Lakeline, Chesterland, South Euclid, Mayfield Heights, East
Cleveland, Lyndhurst and Wickliffe.
Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this snow
squall. Rapid changes in visibility and potentially slick roads are
likely to lead to accidents. Consider delaying travel until the
squall passes your location.
