A prolonged period of wet weather is expected heading into this weekend. An area of low pressure will approach the Ohio Valley today with showers becoming more numerous into tonight. Rises on area rivers and creeks are expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. Occasional rain will continue Friday and Saturday as the low pressure moves from the Ohio Valley to the eastern Great lakes. Thunderstorms are possible across east central Ohio on Friday with locally heavy rainfall possible. Lake enhanced showers will continue on Saturday. Rainfall totals from Thursday through Saturday will generally range from 1 to 2 inches with locally higher amounts, especially where thunderstorms occur.
