Hot and dry condtions will prevail across the area Wednesday and
Thursday. Breezy to locally windy conditions could bring a few hours
of local critical fire weather conditions to the central highlands
both days. Otherwise, a backdoor front will bring a return of Gulf
moisture and chances for thunderstorms to eastern New Mexico Friday
through the weekend.
