THE POTENTIAL FOR ADDITIONAL SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE BY MID AFTERNOON AND TEND TO FOCUS FROM SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA INTO SOUTHWEST IOWA AS A COLD FRONT MOVES INTO THE AREA. THE CHANCE OF SEVERE STORMS WILL LIKELY EXTEND INTO EARLY THIS EVENING FOR PARTS OF SOUTHWEST IOWA. DEEP LAYER WIND SHEAR COUPLED WITH STRONG INSTABILITY WILL BE IN PLACE FOR SUPERCELL DEVELOPMENT WITH LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS THE MAIN THREATS.
