* At 0315 PM Tuesday the stage was 31.3 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 33.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tomorrow afternoon and continue to 
  rise to near 33.1 feet by tomorrow evening. The river will fall below flood 
  stage by tomorrow evening.
* At 33.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding begins in the vicinity of the gage as 
  water escapes the main channel. Riverview Drive in the River Ridge subdivision
  becomes inundated.

* At 105.7 feet...Numerous homes in the Timberlake and Timberridge subdivisions 
  in Montgomery County and and the Spring Hills subdivision south of the 
  Woodlands are flooded with water to the roofs of some homes possible. The 
  bridge at I-45 is closed and many homes near Riley-Fussel Road and the 
  confluence of Spring and Cypress Creeks downstream to Lake Houston are 
  flooded.

A river flood warning remains in effect for the Cypress Creek...East Fork San
Jacinto...Lake Creek...Little Cypress Creek...Peach Creek...San Jacinto River...
Spring Creek...West Fork San Jacinto...Willow Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons are urged to stay away from the river until water levels recede.

Motorists should avoid any water covered roads and find an alternate route.

Livestock and equipment should remain out of the flood plain for the next few
days.
