* Forecast...The Arkansas River at Van Buren will continue rising to 
  near 22.3 feet this afternoon. The river is expected to fall below 
  flood stage early Wednesday morning. However, additional significant 
  rainfall is expected Wednesday and Thursday, which could result in 
  in additional rises and more substantial flooding. Interests along 
  the river should continue to monitor the latest forecasts and be
  prepared to react to greater flooding.
* Impact...At 22.0 feet, minor lowland flooding occurs along the

* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Forecast...The Arkansas River at Ozark Lock and Dam will continue 
  falling to below flood stage by late this morning.
* Impact...At 357.0 feet, flooding affects agricultural use lands 
  along the river downstream of the lock and dam in Franklin County. 
  Gas fields are also subject to flooding downstream. Equipment and 
  livestock should be moved to higher ground.

AND SOUTH OF THE MID-LEVEL SHEAR AXIS THAT WILL BE LOCATED ACROSS
NORTHEAST OK. GIVEN THE VERY HIGH PWS (NEAR 2")...ADDITIONAL
LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE TODAY.

ALL EYES THEN TURN TO TROPICAL STORM "BILL" WHICH IS CURRENTLY

THE ECMWF...WHICH HAD BEEN A MAJOR SLOW OUTLIER...HAS COME INTO MUCH
BETTER AGREEMENT WITH THE LATEST GFS/NAM SOLUTIONS. THE GLOBAL MODEL
SOLUTIONS...ALONG WITH THE COMPOSITE NHC TRACK GUIDANCE SHOW THE
REMAINS OF "BILL" LIFTING INTO SOUTH-CENTRAL OK WEDNESDAY EVENING
THEN TRACKING NORTHEAST THROUGH EASTERN OK AND EVENTUALLY INTO
SOUTHERN MO BY EARLY FRIDAY. THIS REPRESENTS A SLIGHT WESTWARD
ADJUSTMENT TO THE TRACK (AND HEAVIEST RAINFALL) THAN OUR PREVIOUS
FORECAST.

WIDESPREAD RAINFALL OF 4 TO 7 INCHES IS EXPECTED FROM SOUTHEAST OK
INTO NORTHWEST AR...WITH SOME LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS OVER 10 INCHES
POSSIBLE. SIGNIFICANT FLASH FLOODING AND MAIN STEM RIVER FLOODING IS
EXPECTED...ALONG WITH THE CHANCE OF SEVERE WEATHER WEDNESDAY NIGHT
