* from this evening until further notice, or until the warning is 
  cancelled.
* At  7:00 AM Wednesday, the stage was 354.65 feet.
* Flood stage is 357.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The Arkansas River at Ozark Lock and Dam is expected to 
  rise above flood stage this evening and continue to rise to near 
  358.9 feet Friday morning. Additional rises are possible 
  thereafter.
* Impact...At 360.0 feet, flooding spreads over more than 4,000 acres 
  in Franklin and Logan Counties. Numerous gas fields are flooded. 
  Some agricultural lands in Johnson County also are flooded.

* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The Arkansas River at Van Buren will continue rising to 
  near 24.7 feet Thursday before dawn then will slowly fall but remain
  above 22 feet through Monday.
* Impact...At 25.0 feet, extensive agricultural lowland flooding 
  occurs along the shoreline from Van Buren downstream to Lavaca. 
  Some rural roads near Lavaca are impassable. Much of Kelley Park 
  northwest of downtown Fort Smith is flooded.

FOR AT LEAST A COUPLE MORE HOURS ACROSS PARTS OF NORTHERN
PUSHMATAHA...SOUTHERN LATIMER AND SOUTHERN LE FLORE COUNTIES WHERE
SERIOUS FLOODING HAS ALREADY OCCURRED DUE TO 4-5 INCHES OF RAIN IN
THE PAST FEW HOURS.

ANOTHER SMALLER AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS IS OCCURRING
ACROSS PARTS OF FAR NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA NEAR THE SURFACE LOW AND
COLD FRONT. THIS ACTIVITY WILL ONLY PRODUCE RELATIVELY LIGHT
AMOUNTS OF ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AND WILL BE ENDING EARLY THIS
MORNING. WILL CANCEL THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH FROM ABOUT INTERSTATE
40 NORTH AND ADD CRAWFORD...FRANKLIN AND SEBASTIAN COUNTIES IN
ARKANSAS TO THE WATCH.

RAIN WILL HAVE ENDED IN MOST PLACES BY AFTERNOON AND IT WILL THEN
BE MOSTLY DRY UNTIL LATE THURSDAY NIGHT. WILL KEEP SOME MINIMAL
POPS NEAR THE RED RIVER BUT THE MAJORITY OF THE ACTIVITY SHOULD BE
TO THE SOUTH THE NEXT COUPLE DAYS. UNSEASONABLY COOL WEATHER WILL
