...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in 
southern Indiana...

  East Fork White River...Muscatatuck River...Wabash River...White 
  River...


.Moderate to heavy rainfall of 2 to more than 4 inches on Thursday
will cause lowland flooding to return to southern Indiana this
Easter weekend.  At this time...flooding will not be as extensive
as previously seen in March.

An unsettled weather pattern following Easter Sunday may bring the
most extensive river flooding seen this year to central and southern
Indiana after April 8th.  Rainfall in much of central Indiana may
exceed 3 inches from April 6th through the 10th. Flooding in southern
Indiana could persist through April 20th.

Rivers levels in southern Indiana were rising sharply late Friday
morning.  Flooding had returned to the Muscatatuck River in southern
Indiana and will soon follow along the East Fork White...White and
Wabash Rivers by Monday.

Flooding will affect local and state roads...agricultural lands...
river parks and possible some residential areas.


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

  Road, by Mica Metals; Little Salt Creek Run; Stumphole Bridge Road,
  near Indiana State Road 450; Huron-Williams Road; Lawrenceport 
  Road; Rivervale Road and Earl Road.

  crest of the river followed 2 days later and reached 27.6 feet at 
  Bedford and caused Salt Creek to rise nearly 6 feet at the 
  tailwater of Monroe Lake.
